welcome to the second installment of THE HOMEBODY DIARIES, a 6-week limited series in which i will be combining my two passions: interior design + home fragrance!
each week will hold a new fragrance feature as well as a mood board dedicated to a home designed by that fragrance!
this week's feature is AUTUMN BRUNCH, a scent that captures a cozy autumn morning complete with a stack of pancakes + heaps of maple syrup.
focus on the good stuff.
turning your space into one inspired by autumn brunch is the perfect opportunity to bring in focal points that draw inspiration from the tones and overall imagery of maple syrup.
adding in a side table that mimics the way the syrup cascades down the side of a stack of pancakes along with other golden-toned items, like a throw blanket, plates, etc. can really bring in that cozy feeling of our favorite breakfast accessory!
not only that, but playing off of the roundness of the pancakes with your table as well as various serveware elements will truly capture the true essence of an autumn brunch!
+ you can't forget about the accents!
they're what tie the whole thing together, after all!
an autumn brunch wouldn't be an autumn brunch without fall itself! so incorporating those shades of red, yellow, etc. will really amp up the cozy factor!
you can do this by adding miscellaneous elements like placemats, coasters, rugs, etc. - essentially anything that can help you tie in the colors of the coziest season ever is sure to transform your space into one that brings you ultimate comfort.
